Position Summary: Provide engineering stress analysis services and support for in-service customer support and new aircraft modifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering structural analysis for the support of the C212 and CN235 aircraft operating in the U.S.
  • Provide in-service structural repair substantiation support for Airbus DS customers.
  • Generate and review structural design substantiations, technical reports, and other technical publications for new aircraft modifications.
  • Review structural analysis documents within the team to verify compliance with airworthiness standards and report any potential non-compliance.
  • SolidWorks experience is required.
  • Ability to perform static strength analysis.
  • Ability to perform fatigue and damage tolerance studies.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Aerospace/Aeronautical) or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

  • 4-6 years' experience in an aerospace stress engineering environment required.
  • Previous experience/knowledge in CASA C212 and CN235 aircraft is a plus.
  • 2 years' experience working in SolidWorks is required.

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Must understand, read and write proficiently in the English language to read and understand appropriate manuals, schematics, and technical information necessary to adequately perform duties.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is not required but considered a plus.

Technical Systems Proficiency:

  • Proficient in MS Project, MS Office Suite, SolidWorks, and various CAD suites.

  • Authorized to Work in the US
